Norvern Ember 156
At first look the Ember 156 looks like a traditional snowboard with twin tip shape and a deep side cut. The ember is very stiff at first but breaks in nicely to a 5-6 flex after a few days on the mountain. This board is extremely fast and runs great at high speeds with no chatter. The ember is amazing for all mountain terrain or hitting Large and XXL park jumps. The ember is extremely stable and allows you to carry your speed to the next hit.

Rich, Customer

The 153 Ember all mountain snowboard preformed extremely well. I took it to the limits with over a foot of powder in the resorts backcountry and had no problems! The edges were very sharp right from the factory as well as a great wax job. As far as durability, It was unaffected by all of the trees and rocks that I found. The tip and tail design allowed me to get a shorter board than normal which reduced swing weight for big spins. The flexibility rating of 5 was dead on. The board is firm enough to hold turns at fast speeds but still able to butter and stick presses on boxes and rails.
I would recommend this board for anyone who enjoys riding the whole mountain as well as taking it into the park for jumps or finding your own cliffs in the backcountry.
